SugarWalk Support
SugarWalk switches off the apps you choose for two hours after a meal time you set. Ten minutes of moving gives them back early — a walk, the stairs, a run, a ride, indoors or out. If you don't move, they come back anyway.

Frequently asked questions
Why didn't my apps come back even though I moved?
iOS decides when an app in the background may check anything, so the count can lag. The quickest fix is to reach for one of the blocked apps: the block screen re-checks as it appears, and if you've done your ten minutes the apps unlock there and then. Otherwise they come back at the end of the two hours anyway.
What happens if I never get to move after a meal?
Your apps come back after two hours regardless — SugarWalk never blocks you indefinitely. The app records what happened and says nothing about it. There is no streak to break and no message telling you off.
Can I get an app back early without moving?
There is no instant unlock and no pass to spend — a button that unlocks on request is a button everyone eventually presses, and then the app is pointless. There is no way to confirm a walk by hand either.
What you can do is move the block rather than beat it. Running late pushes it back thirty minutes, up to an hour in total, for when you ate later than usual. Skip cancels one meal's block outright for today. Both are in the app, both take one tap, and both are meant to be used — eating at a different time is not cheating.
I'm injured or ill and can't move for a while — what do I do?
Switch the meal off in Settings › Meal times, or switch SugarWalk off entirely from Settings. Neither costs you anything, and your meal times and chosen apps are kept either way. An app that takes over part of your phone should be easy to hand back.
Does SugarWalk see which apps I locked?
No. Apple's Screen Time system hands SugarWalk an opaque token for each app you pick, and never the app's identity. We couldn't tell you which apps you chose if we wanted to.
Do I need an account?
No. SugarWalk works entirely on your device with no sign-in required.
